The YearBeyond Little Explorers ECD Programme supports ECD Centres and households in local communities. The programme builds pre-school children's literacy and gross motor skills by encouraging a love of stories and supporting physical movement.

What do YeBoneers do?

YeBoneers on the Programme work in ECD centres and run a literacy, gross motor, and fine motor programme once a week for the centres. Every afternoon they visit households whose children do not attend an ECD centre

Please note: This opportunity is not available to individuals who have been a part of any YearBeyond programme before. 

What are the eligibility requirements?

You can apply for the YearBeyond Early Childhood Development Little Explorers Programme if:

• You are 18-25 years old
• At least a grade 10.
• You live in or close to one of the areas where the programme is implemented. (See the list of areas below.)
• You are passionate about working with pre-school children.
