Through this program, you'll access cutting-edge Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS) devices, MyPocketHealth virtual consultation platform and the support to operate as a self-driven healthcare entrepreneur serving multiple clinics while building a profitable, flexible practice. This is a launchpad to build something of your own.
The initiative is a joint effort between Innovation Edge, Reconstructed Living Labs NPC (RLabs) and Innov8 Group Holdings (Pty) Ltd. It is funded by the National Pathway Management Network (NPMN) Innovation Fund, a grant initiative led by the Department of Employment and Labour (DEL), under the auspices of the Presidential Youth Employment Intervention (PYEI) and administered by the Industrial Development Corporation (IDC). Hlola EmpowerCare aims to empower young South African doctors to become entrepreneurs in healthcare.
Young medical doctors, post-community service who are currently unemployed, doing locum work, or underemployed.
