We are recruiting a dedicated and compassionate Social Auxiliary Worker or Social Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will work alongside district-level social workers to provide administrative and coordination support, primarily focused on enabling the formal registration of Early Childhood Development (ECD) centres.

• NQF Level 5 qualification in Social Auxiliary Work
• Bachelor of Social Work (BSW)
• Matric (Grade 12)
• Registered with the South African Council for Social Service Professions (SACSSP) valid registration number
• Clear criminal record (self-declaration required)

Child Protection Compliance:

• Must be cleared against Part B of the National Child Protection Register
• Written consent is required from all applicants

Deployment Readiness:

• Available for full-time district-level deployment
• Able to travel locally to centres, including rural areas
• Comfortable working under supervision

• Basic data literacy

Desirable Experience:

• Work/volunteer exposure in ECD/Children, Department of Education and Social Development, and NGOs
