We are looking for a motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as an Employer Audit Service (EAS) Intern. 

In this role, you will support the Employer Audit Service (EAS)—a key initiative focused on assessing employer compliance with workplace safety regulations and employment standards. Through EAS, you’ll gain exposure to audit processes, data collection, and reporting mechanisms that help ensure safe, fair, and legally compliant working conditions.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in monitoring compliance by assisting in the conduct of inspections to determine the level of compliance with UIA, COIDA, and UICA.
• Assist with the execution of investigations on reported complaints about contravention of UIA, COIDA, and UICA.
• Provide administrative support to the inspectors.

A three (3) year tertiary qualification in one of the following fields:

• BCom Law
• LLB
• Labour Law
• BCom Accounting
• Internal Audit
• Auditing
• Financial Accounting
• Cost and Management Accounting
• Financial Information System
• BCompt.Accounting
• Financial Management.

NB: (Qualification must be at NQF Level 6 – National Diploma or NQF Level 7 – Bachelor’s Degree.)
