Participants will:

• Attend classroom based theoretical training.
• Participate in practical activities. 
• Learn crop establishment, irrigation, pest control, harvesting, and post-harvest handling.  
• Assist with field preparation and crop management.  
• Participate in health and safety.  
• Develop teamwork, communication and workplace skills.  
• Must be able to work outdoors in agricultural environments.  
• Passionate about agriculture and rural development.
• Commitment to attend training and practical sessions.

  Education:

• Minimum Grade 12.

Experience and Skills:

• Live in or near the site and have an in-depth understanding of the community.
• Age between 18-35 (Required).
• Interest in working in youth development programs.
• Interest in planning and implementing peer-based activities for young people.
• Child Safeguarding vetting.
• Smartphone.
