Key Responsibilities
- Is responsible for the hands-on cultivation of crops and/or the raising and care of livestock. This role focuses on maximizing yield, maintaining farm infrastructure, and adhering to strict environmental and safety standards.
- Plant, cultivate, irrigate, and harvest crops based on seasonal schedules and climate-smart practices.
- Feed, water, and herd livestock. Monitor animals for signs of illness, administer vaccines, and maintain sanitary living environments.
- Safely operate, clean, and perform routine preventative maintenance on farm machinery and tools.
- Apply fertilizers and pesticides responsibly. Monitor soil health and report issues to management.
