Programme Description:

• Supports children in schools and communities through sport and health programmes.
• Uses sport to promote positive social change in vulnerable communities.
• Combines sport, life skills, and empowerment activities.
• Encourages holistic youth development.
   

Key Responsibilities:

• Leads sport and recreation sessions for children and youth in schools and communities.
• Facilitates life skills and academic support sessions alongside sports activities.
• Promotes healthy and active lifestyles within the community.
• Assists with planning and running community sport events and leagues.
• Develops coaching, leadership, communication, teamwork, and community engagement skills through ongoing training and development.
   
   

Educational:

• Minimum qualification: Grade 12 (required)
• Must live in or near the site and have a strong understanding of the community.
• Must be between 18 and 35 years old
• Interested in working in youth development programmes.
• Interested in planning and implementing peer-based activities for young people.
• Must pass child safeguarding vetting.
• Must have a smartphone.
• Must have a clear criminal record.
