Programme Description:

Youth are trained and employed as child protection and after-school coaches.  The Ukhuselo Labantwana Edu-Sport programme, through quality after-school programmes, engages learners (Grades 1–7) in sport, play, and physical education activities that promote health and wellness, and improve social capital.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead sport and play activities at Ukhuselo Labantwana Edu-Sport facilities
• Facilitate recreational games, health promotion campaigns, and uphold safeguarding principles
• Mentor learners in teamwork, discipline, and self-confidence

 
-Min Grade 12 (required)

Experience and Skills:

• Live in or near the site and have an in-depth understanding of the community.
• Age between 18-35 (Required)
• Interest in working in youth development programs
• Interest in planning and implementing peer-based activities for young people 
• Child Safeguarding vetting
• Smartphone
