Key Responsibilities:

• The participant will gain practical experience in the daily operations of a childcare centre and residential care home, while supporting the wellbeing and development of children.

 Responsibilities and opportunities include:

• Assisting with the day-to-day care and supervision of children residing in the home.
• Supporting the daily operations and administrative tasks of the childcare centre.
• Assisting with activities that promote the physical, emotional, and social development of the children.
• Maintaining a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for all children in care.
• Gaining hands-on experience and insight into the functioning and management of a residential childcare facility and orphanage.
• Developing practical skills and knowledge in child and youth care services.

•  Minimum Grade 12 qualification (required).
• Must live within close proximity to the site.
• Age between 18-35 years (required).
• Must successfully undergo Child Safeguarding vetting.
• Must have an interest in pursuing a career in ECD.
• Must have access to a smartphone.
