Programme Description:

Youth are trained and employed as community sports leaders and after-school coaches. Through the Leap Ladder Afterschool Programme, they engage learners (Grades 1–7) in games, structured sport leagues, and wellness activities that promote healthy lifestyles and social cohesion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead sport sessions in schools and community centres.
• Facilitate recreational games and health promotion campaigns.
• Mentor learners in teamwork, discipline, and self-confidence.
• Assist in organizing local sporting events and leagues.

Educational:

-Minimum Grade 12 (required)

Experience and Skills:

• Live in or near the site and have an in-depth understanding of the community.
• Age between 18 and 35 (Required).
• Interest in working in youth development programs. 
• Interest in planning and implementing peer-based activities for young people. 
• Child Safeguarding vetting.
• Smartphone.
