Programme Description:
Support community-based Gender-Based Violence (GBV) prevention, awareness, and support services aimed at promoting safety, dignity, and wellbeing within communities.
Key Responsibilities:
Support GBV awareness, community outreach, workshops, support groups, beneficiary referrals, administration, and reporting while maintaining confidentiality and safeguarding standards.
Skills Developed:
GBV awareness, community engagement, facilitation, communication, teamwork, administration, reporting, confidentiality, and referral support skills.
Requirements
Must be aged 18–35 years.
Must live in or near the placement area with good community knowledge.
Interest in youth development and community-based programmes.
Willingness to work on GBV prevention and support activities.
Must pass Child Safeguarding vetting.
Basic administrative and communication skills are an advantage.
