  Programme Description:
Youth are trained and employed as PE sports coaches, specialising in Netball, Soccer, and Chess. Through this program, coaches will engage learners (Grades 8-12 ) in games, structured sport leagues(match fixtures), and in Physical Education lessons. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead sport sessions in school ( Physical Education- Part Of LO) 
  • Attend match fixtures with the team as their coach 
  • Mentor learners in teamwork, discipline, and self-confidence


Skills Developed: 

  • Coaching experience
  •  Youth engagement 
  • Team Leading 

Requirements

  Education:

  • Min Grade 12 (required)


Experience and Skills:

  • Live in or near the site and have an in-depth understanding of the community.
  • Age between 18-35 (Required)
  • Interest in working in youth development programs
  • Interest in planning and implementing peer-based activities for young people 
  •  Child Safeguarding vetting
  • Smartphone
