Programme Description:

• Provides knowledge and practical skills for cashier and merchandising roles in retail and wholesale.
• Trains participants in professional customer service and customer interaction.
• Builds practical experience, skills, and confidence in retail operations.
• Supports improved customer satisfaction and business success.

 Key Responsibilities:

• Attend classroom-based training at Lesedi la Batho, with a specific focus on completing and compiling their Portfolio of Evidence (PoE).
• Participate actively in all training sessions, assessments, and learning activities.
• Complete a practical workplace learning experience in a local retail store to gain hands-on experience in cashier and merchandising duties.
•  Keep accurate records of workplace activities and submit the required evidence for inclusion in their PoE.
  

Educational:

• Minimum Grade 12
• Age between 18-35.
• Interest in Cashier and Merchandising
  or sales assistant skill.
• Able to read and write.
• Smartphone.
• South African citizen.
