Programme Description:

Youth facilitate early learning playgroups and literacy-based activities at ECD centres. Through storytelling, games, music, and hands-on learning, they help stimulate the development of young children and contribute to strong educational foundations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Organize and lead interactive learning through play
• Read stories and conduct early literacy activities
• Support cognitive, emotional, and physical development in young children
• Collaborate with ECD staff to enrich early education

Min Grade 12 (required)

Experience and Skills:

• Live in or near the site and have an in-depth understanding of the community.
• Age between 18-35 (Required)
• Interest in working in youth development programs
• Interest in planning and implementing peer-based activities for young people 
• Child Safeguarding vetting
• Smartphone
