Programme Description:

Youth facilitate early learning playgroups and literacy-based activities at ECD centres through storytelling, games, music, and hands-on learning. They help stimulate the development of young children and contribute to strong educational foundations.       

Key responsibilities:

  • Organize and lead through play, read stories, and conduct early literacy activities.
  • Work hand in hand with the ECD staff.

Requirements

  Educational:

  • Minimum Grade 12.

Experience and Skills:

  • Live in or near the site and have an in-depth understanding of the community.
  • Age between 18 and 35.
  • Interest in working in youth development programs.
  • Interest in planning and implementing peer-based activities for young people.
  • Child Safeguarding vetting.
  • Must have a smartphone.
