Programme Description:    

• Workplace Readiness and Community Development.
• Participants will be placed within local businesses, and community organisations to gain practical workplace experience, improve employability skills, and develop professional work habits.
• The programme aims to expose young people to various career pathways while contributing positively to their communities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participants will be placed at Retail (SPAR, OK Bazaar) Panel Shops, Welfare Organisations (NPOs), Faith-Based Organisations) Day Care, etc.  Assist with daily administrative duties.
• Support customer service and reception functions.  Participate in community outreach and awareness activities.
• Maintain records and filing systems.
• Assist with stock control and inventory management where applicable.
• Support supervisors with operational activities.  
• Attend training sessions and workplace meetings.  
• Demonstrate professionalism and adherence to workplace policies.

Experience and Skills:

• Must reside in or near Eastlynne.
• Aged between 18 and 35 years.
• Good communication skills.
• Interest in community development and youth programmes.
• Willingness to learn and work in diverse environments.
• Access to a smartphone.
• Reliable and punctual.
