A Takealot Personal Shopper helps:

• Customers (family, friends, people in their community) buy products on the Takealot platform.
• Customers pay you, you order for them on Takealot, and Takealot pays you commission.
• Personal Shoppers make online shopping simple and accessible for people in their community who don’t have bank cards or feel unsure about buying online themselves. 

This is not a job. No office hours. No salary. No guaranteed income.  

This is a commission-based opportunity only. Being a Takealot Personal Shopper is more like running your own small business. Your side-hustle. You buy for customers; Takealot pays you commission. You can also earn bonuses for meeting monthly targets, recruiting other personal shoppers, and advertising Takealot specials on your social media profiles.

The following criteria must be met:

• Matric.
• South African Citizen.
• Must be between the ages of 18 and 34.
• You must live in the eligible area as determined by Takealot.
• Answer all the questions in this application process below.
• Have access to a smartphone and data/ Wi-Fi.
• Be able to receive deliveries at a safe location (e.g., your home).
• Have a Takealot profile with a valid email address. 
• A Takealot account is required to complete this application. Please create your account before proceeding.
• Should you be shortlisted, you will be required to make at least one purchase during the shortlisting and review phase.

Next steps once you've applied: 

• If you meet all criteria and if you are shortlisted, you will receive SMS communication with more information
• You will be invited to join a voluntary information and Q&A session on a TikTok live to learn more about the opportunity
• You will be required to make a minimum of one purchase on the Takealot platform before the given deadline
