The Year Beyond Placemakers Programme
The YearBeyond Placemakers Programme is a heritage project linked to tourism managed by the Western Cape Museum Service and forms part of the YearBeyond Youth in Service programme. This stream gives youth the opportunity to be placed at local museums across the province, supporting efforts to preserve heritage and community histories and promote tourism.
YeBoneers in this programme will assist museum staff with front-of-house and visitor engagements, as well as collecting and curating stories through oral history initiatives, storytelling events, and memory mapping activities.
